- 0:02Hey guys, in this video we're going to
- 0:04be looking at HubFit workout sections.
- 0:06You can have four different type of
- 0:08sections which include regular sections,
- 0:10circuits, AM wrap, and intervals. I'm
- 0:12going to be showing you all four and how
- 0:14it works. We're going to be looking at
- 0:15the client app and how it works in the
- 0:16workout tracker. And then I'm going to
- 0:18show you from the coach side how you can
- 0:19actually create these different workout
- 0:21sections. Over here we have an interval
- 0:24section. So an interval section is an
- 0:26auto timer which auto displays
- 0:28exercises. So, it's a way for clients to
- 0:31follow along on exercises that you set.
- 0:33You'll see here any descriptions you add
- 0:35will appear here. The type of section
- 0:37will appear here and the name of the
- 0:39section that you give appears here. They
- 0:40can see all the exercises in this
- 0:43section and how many rounds you've
- 0:44assigned. And for them to start the
- 0:46section, they can just click the start
- 0:47button. So, I'll go ahead and click
- 0:49start section. And you'll see the
- 0:51section has started. We have a jump rope
- 0:53exercise which goes for 30 seconds.
- 0:55You'll see here the timer has started.
- 0:57Over here it indicates the rest period
- 1:00and over here we have a couple of
- 1:01options. One being we can pause. So I
- 1:04will go ahead and pause just so I can
- 1:05run you through the rest of the things
- 1:07that we see here. Over here we see how
- 1:08long is remaining for the entire
- 1:10section. So we had three rounds and it
- 1:13calculates the total duration based on
- 1:15each exercise and the rest period. So
- 1:17this is a nice countdown for the client
- 1:19to see how long is left for this
- 1:21interval. Over here they can see how
- 1:22many rounds they've completed and here
- 1:24they'll see the percentage that they've
- 1:25completed so far. And there's also a bar
- 1:27here to show them their percentage
- 1:29completion. Over here, the video auto
- 1:31plays. Any fields that you assign for
- 1:33the exercise appears here. So if you
- 1:34assign weight or if you assign reps,
- 1:37whatever it may be, they will appear
- 1:39here. If the exercise has any
- 1:41instructions, an icon will appear here
- 1:42that the client can click on to view the
- 1:44instructions. If the client wants to see
- 1:46the section instructions, they can click
- 1:48on this icon. And there's also this
- 1:50option to end the section early. So
- 1:52maybe at round two they want to end it
- 1:55and not go to round three. They can just
- 1:57do complete and they can finish the
- 1:58section. So I will go ahead and click
- 2:01play to show you what it looks like when
- 2:03the exercise is done and the rest timer
- 2:05kicks in.
- 2:08So as you see the auto timer kicks in
- 2:11for the rest period. And here I can see
- 2:13that the rest period is 30 seconds. And
- 2:15it shows me what exercise is coming
- 2:17next, the duration and the rest period
- 2:19along with the exercise instructions. I
- 2:21can skip this rest period or I can even
- 2:23pause it if I want to extend it. But I
- 2:25will just wait for it to finish. So I
- 2:27can show you what it will look like as
- 2:28it's autoplay.
- 2:31So you can see the next exercise kicks
- 2:33in. And again, this is 30 seconds. We
- 2:35can also skip exercises. So I can just
- 2:38like fly through the exercises.
- 2:41So in this case, I'll just fly through
- 2:43it really quick just to show you what it
- 2:45looks like. So over here you see the
- 2:47section has now been completed. So the
- 2:49client will see how many rounds they've
- 2:50completed and how long it took them to
- 2:52complete this interval section. They can
- 2:54always reset a section if maybe they
- 2:56want to redo it or maybe they entered
- 2:58some data incorrectly. They can just
- 2:59come here and do reset. This data is
- 3:01also available to you from the code
- 3:03side. Over here we have a circuit
- 3:05section. A circuit is just a way for you
- 3:08to give them certain exercises and the
- 3:10rounds they should do them for. So this
- 3:12is similar to what we just saw for the
- 3:14sections. I will go ahead and click
- 3:15start section. So here we've started our
- 3:18circuit section. So this is similar to
- 3:20what we saw with the intervals, but we
- 3:23do have an extra option here. This
- 3:25option here allows us to either reset
- 3:28the section or to mark the section
- 3:30completed. Maybe in round two, we decide
- 3:33we want to just complete it and not go
- 3:35to round four, we can do so. So I will
- 3:36go ahead and fill in all these sections
- 3:39here. Add all these in. And then I will
- 3:41do complete round. So when I do complete
- 3:44round, it takes us to the next round.
- 3:46Now, because there's a rest period
- 3:47between the rounds of 10 seconds, that
- 3:49automatically kicks off. So, I will just
- 3:51go ahead and do complete round and then
- 3:55complete round. And here you can see
- 3:57similar preview. Next up, we have AMR
- 4:00wrap. So, here you can give them a list
- 4:02of exercises that they can do for a
- 4:04round and then a duration and then they
- 4:06can track how many rounds they can get
- 4:07done within that duration. So, let's go
- 4:09ahead and do start section. And here you
- 4:11can see similar options and you have a
- 4:14countdown over here for this section. So
- 4:16let's just go ahead and do complete
- 4:18round. So I'll do complete round. So so
- 4:20far we've done one round, complete
- 4:22another round. So we have about 5
- 4:24seconds left and we've completed four
- 4:26rounds in total. 2 seconds, 1 second.
- 4:29And you can see the time is up. Now when
- 4:32the time is up, they can go ahead and do
- 4:34complete section. But if in any case
- 4:36they may have not recorded some rounds
- 4:38as they were doing the rounds, they can
- 4:40come here and modify and quickly add the
- 4:43rounds. You can go ahead and do complete
- 4:45section. And just like that, we can see
- 4:47how many rounds was completed and the
- 4:49duration. And here is a regular section.
- 4:51This is just a way for you to group
- 4:53exercises together. So a good example
- 4:55would be if you have a warm-up section
- 4:57for the beginning of your workout, you
- 4:58can group your warm-ups together and the
- 5:00client can enter in their field and mark
- 5:03a set as complete. So I can do that here
- 5:05as well. And if they want to do an extra
- 5:07set, they can add another set. That's
- 5:08pretty much everything for a regular
- 5:10section. So we are now on the coach
- 5:13side. And right now I have the workout
- 5:14builder open. I have an empty workout
- 5:16program. And we're going to go ahead and
- 5:18create a workout with the four different
- 5:20type of sections to show you how you can
- 5:22actually create these. So the first
- 5:24thing is that this is a normal workout.
- 5:26I can drag and drop exercises as normal.
- 5:28But let's go ahead and create a section.
- 5:30You can do this by clicking this add
- 5:32section button here. If I do add
- 5:33section, you'll see here you have the
- 5:35four sections that we spoke about. You
- 5:37have regular, interval, amrap, and
- 5:39circuit. Let's go ahead and create a
- 5:41regular section. First, I'll do regular,
- 5:43and I'll do add section. So, here you
- 5:45see we've created the section. We can
- 5:47always rename the section by clicking
- 5:49this. And we can also add instructions
- 5:51for the sections from here. And all the
- 5:53four sections follow this pattern. Over
- 5:55here in the dropdown, you'll see that
- 5:57you have a duplicate option. If you want
- 5:59to duplicate the section, you can also
- 6:00save the section to your library. So
- 6:02maybe you created a section that you
- 6:04like and you want to store it in your
- 6:05library so you can reuse it later. Let's
- 6:07go ahead and add an exercise into this
- 6:09section. So I'll just put run. I'll drag
- 6:11this over here and I can enter the
- 6:13fields if I want to. And if I want to
- 6:14add another exercise, I can just drag
- 6:16it. And just like so we have two
- 6:18exercises in this section. Let's go
- 6:20ahead and create another section. And in
- 6:23this case, let's create an interval
- 6:25section. So over here we've added the
- 6:27section again. looks similar, but there
- 6:29are some differences here since it's an
- 6:31interval section. The first thing you'll
- 6:32see is you can assign the rounds for
- 6:35this interval. And you'll also see that
- 6:37there's this duration here. This
- 6:38duration is automatically calculated
- 6:40based on the exercise that you add in to
- 6:43show you how long the interval is going
- 6:44to be. So, for example, let's add
- 6:47squats. So, let's put in squats. Now,
- 6:49when you add an exercise into an
- 6:51interval section, you'll see that this
- 6:53duration field is required. So, let's go
- 6:55ahead and select a duration. I'll say
- 6:56that this exercise should be done for 1
- 6:58minute. And here you can see this is now
- 7:001 minute. And you can also add in the
- 7:02rest period. And if you add a rest
- 7:04period, it will be added to the
- 7:05duration. The duration also takes into
- 7:07account the round. So if I do two
- 7:09rounds, you can see here now the
- 7:11duration is 2 minutes. And if I go ahead
- 7:13and add another exercise, let's add
- 7:15push-ups. And I'll set this to 1 minute
- 7:17as well. And you can see here this
- 7:20updates accordingly. So now we have two
- 7:22exercises 1 minute each with two rounds
- 7:24coming to a total of four minutes. Now
- 7:26if you want a rest period between the
- 7:29rounds the way to do this is to add a
- 7:31rest period in the last exercise of the
- 7:33section. Let's go ahead and create
- 7:35another section. And in this case let's
- 7:37create an AM wrap section. So here again
- 7:40this is similar if you add an exercise.
- 7:42So if we add a barbell bench press
- 7:44similar idea the difference here in this
- 7:46case is that you pick the duration. So
- 7:48in this case, let's say we want them to
- 7:50do this AMR wrap or 5 minutes, I can do
- 7:52so. And then when they start this
- 7:54section, they'll see the countdown start
- 7:56from 5 minutes. And the last section
- 7:58here is the circuit. So I'll go ahead
- 8:00and create this section. And here it's
- 8:03similar to all the other sections. The
- 8:04only difference in this case because
- 8:06it's a circuit, you can assign the
- 8:08rounds and adding the exercise works the
- 8:10same as any other section. So that's how
- 8:12you can create the four different type
- 8:14of sections. The main differences
- 8:15between them is these little settings
- 8:18depending on the section. So over here
- 8:20we're in our sections library. So you
- 8:22can see this by going to your training
- 8:24under the library sections and then to
- 8:26your sections. So you can directly save
- 8:29sections from your workout or you can
- 8:30even just come over here and create your
- 8:32sections straight into your library that
- 8:35you can easily reuse later and import to
- 8:37your workout. If I go ahead and click on
- 8:38add section, you'll see the same flow
- 8:40that we just saw. So, I'm back in the
- 8:42workout builder and I want to show you
- 8:44how you can actually import a section
- 8:45from your library. So, if I do add
- 8:47section, I can go to section library,
- 8:49which you can see here. I can click on
- 8:51this and for example, let's click on
- 8:53this high intensity interval and I can
- 8:55do add section and just like that, it's
- 8:57added the section into this workout and
- 8:59I can go ahead and modify it and make
- 9:01adjustments which won't affect the
- 9:03template that we just imported from our
- 9:05library. And the last thing I want to
- 9:07show you is how the sections look like
- 9:10in a completed workout. So here you'll
- 9:12see the client completed this section.
- 9:15We can see that it was a regular section
- 9:16and it was the warm-up. And here we can
- 9:18see the exercises along with all the
- 9:20different sets that they've done. I'll
- 9:22see here that there was an AM wrap
- 9:25section done. Here I'll see the total
- 9:27duration that they've spent doing this
- 9:29AMR wrap. They might have ended it early
- 9:31before the countdown. Over here it'll
- 9:32tell me how many rounds they've done.
- 9:34And then here I can see all the
- 9:35exercises and if they've hit any PRs or
- 9:37anything, it will also be tracked in the
- 9:39sections. This is covered more in depth
- 9:41in our workout tracker tutorial. If I
- 9:43scroll down to interval, you'll see it's
- 9:45similar. And the same thing goes for
- 9:47circuits. You can see that here. So
- 9:49that's everything for the workout
- 9:50sections. You have your regular
- 9:52sections, AMR wrap, circuits, and
- 9:54intervals. If you have any questions,
- 9:55feel free to leave them in the comments
- 9:57below.
