Connect Cronometer

Use Cronometer for nutrition logging instead of the in-app tracker, with full sync back to HubFit.

What you will learn

Why Cronometer

Best-in-class food database for clients who want micronutrient detail.

How the sync works

Macros and meals from Cronometer flow into the HubFit client profile automatically.

Choosing per client

Use HubFit's tracker for some clients, Cronometer for others — both populate the coach view.

  1. 0:03Hey guys, in this video we're going to
  2. 0:05be looking at Hopefitit's chronometer
  3. 0:07integration. Now, we do have an in-app
  4. 0:09nutrition tracker, but if your clients
  5. 0:10prefer to use Chronometer or if you
  6. 0:12prefer to use Chronometer, you have the
  7. 0:14option to do so. The integration allows
  8. 0:16the client to continue using the
  9. 0:17Chronometer app and anything they log in
  10. 0:19Chronometer is pulled through to the
  11. 0:21coach side so that you can see it. So,
  12. 0:24first I'm going to show you from the
  13. 0:25coach side how you can view the
  14. 0:26chronometer data that your client logs
  15. 0:29and then I'll show you from the app how
  16. 0:30the clients can connect Chronometer. So,
  17. 0:32right now I'm in a client profile and
  18. 0:34I'm in the nutrition section. You'll see
  19. 0:36here you have a couple of options. This
  20. 0:38here nutrition logger is for the inapp
  21. 0:41but if your clients are using
  22. 0:42Chronometer that's where you can view
  23. 0:43the data. Here you'll see data bold
  24. 0:46straight from Chronometer. So, from
  25. 0:48HubFit's side it does a great job at
  26. 0:51displaying the data for you. Here you
  27. 0:53can see that there's a chart that shows
  28. 0:55you the data over the week. I can hover
  29. 0:58through the days and it will show me a
  30. 1:00breakdown of the macros. And then I can,
  31. 1:02let's say we don't want to view calories
  32. 1:04and we want to view fiber. I can do so
  33. 1:07and view exactly what they had for each
  34. 1:09day. Over here you have a macros
  35. 1:11breakdown for the week. So again, this
  36. 1:13is the week that we're filtering for and
  37. 1:15for this week you can view the average
  38. 1:17and then the total. Now these values are
  39. 1:20for the days that food were logged. So
  40. 1:23for example, if you look here, this day
  41. 1:25here, there was nothing logged. So they
  42. 1:27missed one day and then the average
  43. 1:29would account for only the days that
  44. 1:30were logged. Over here you have the days
  45. 1:33they logged meals. So here for example,
  46. 1:36if you see an avocado, it means on this
  47. 1:38day a meal was logged. And what you can
  48. 1:40do is you can actually click on a
  49. 1:42specific day to view exactly what they
  50. 1:44logged. So, if I click, let's say, on
  51. 1:45Friday, I get this popup and I can see
  52. 1:48that there's a uncatategorized area
  53. 1:51where they just added water. Then
  54. 1:53there's breakfast. I can see exactly
  55. 1:56what they had in terms of macros and
  56. 1:59then the quantities for each ingredient.
  57. 2:02If I scroll to the bottom, you'll see
  58. 2:03they also had a snack. Over here, you
  59. 2:05can filter between the different weeks.
  60. 2:08So, if you want to go back in time to
  61. 2:09view certain things that were logged on
  62. 2:11a different week, you can do so. That is
  63. 2:13essentially everything with the
  64. 2:15chronometer integration from the coach
  65. 2:17side. So I am now in the client app
  66. 2:20logged in as a client and I'm going to
  67. 2:22show you how the clients can connect
  68. 2:23their chronometer. If they head over to
  69. 2:25their profile section which is at the
  70. 2:27bottom right. I'll go ahead and click on
  71. 2:29that. You'll see that there's a settings
  72. 2:31icon. There is a list of integrations
  73. 2:34right here. Here is where they can
  74. 2:36connect their chronometer. So if I click
  75. 2:38on chronometer once I click this button
  76. 2:41it will then prompt the user to enter
  77. 2:43their chronometer username and password
  78. 2:46and then that's it. That's all they have
  79. 2:47to do for the integration and everything
  80. 2:49is pulled straight to you on the coach
  81. 2:52side. One last thing I'd like to show
  82. 2:53you is that in the nutrition section. So
  83. 2:56here we have the nutrition. You'll see
  84. 2:58that there is a inapp nutrition tracker.
  85. 3:02Now this might confuse the client if
  86. 3:03they decide to use chronometer. What you
  87. 3:05can do is from the coach side, you can
  88. 3:07actually turn off the inapp nutrition
  89. 3:09tracker so that they don't necessarily
  90. 3:11have to see this every time they open
  91. 3:13the nutrition tab. So, I'm going to
  92. 3:14quickly show you how you can do that.
  93. 3:15So, I'm back on the coach side and if
  94. 3:17you see here, there is a settings. So,
  95. 3:20here you'll see that we have a nutrition
  96. 3:22tracker on the feature control and you
  97. 3:24can simply turn this off and then that
  98. 3:26will disable it from the client's side.
  99. 3:28And once you disable it, this is what
  100. 3:30the client would see on the nutrition
  101. 3:32tab. As you can see, they're in the
  102. 3:34nutrition, but the option of viewing the
  103. 3:36inapp nutrition tracker is no longer
  104. 3:38available. And that is an option you
  105. 3:40have if they're using chronometer just
  106. 3:42to make it more user friendly for them.
  107. 3:44So, that is everything with the
  108. 3:45chronometer integration. It's quite
  109. 3:48straightforward. Connect their
  110. 3:49chronometer and then from the coach
  111. 3:51side, you get a very powerful overview.
  112. 3:53If you have any questions or anything,
  113. 3:54please feel free to leave them down in
  114. 3:56the comments below.
