Set Up Daily Habits

- 0:02hey guys in this video we will be
- 0:04looking at Hope fits habit coaching
- 0:06feature so we're going to look at both
- 0:08the coach side of things but we're also
- 0:10going to look at the client side of
- 0:11things so how it works on The Client app
- 0:13and how your client can use this feature
- 0:15so just for a quick overview The Habit
- 0:17feature in hopeit is very powerful you
- 0:19can assign habits to a client you can
- 0:21give them certain start dates in the
- 0:23case where you might want to Stack
- 0:24habits and have them unlock on certain
- 0:26days and you can also give an end date
- 0:28if you want to have a certain period
- 0:29where a client TRS their habits um and
- 0:32the clients for each habit will have a
- 0:34streak and completion rate and this
- 0:36allows them to stay motivated and to
- 0:38keep on track with their habits um so
- 0:41first things first is I want to show you
- 0:42the library so you can build out your
- 0:44own Library so I can do this by going to
- 0:47my library here and you'll see we have
- 0:49habits now over here you can click on
- 0:52ADD habit and you will be able to pick a
- 0:56habit now I'll run you through each of
- 0:57these fields to to explain how
- 1:00everything works but before I do so I
- 1:02want to show you this hop fit Library so
- 1:03you do get pre-loaded um habits that you
- 1:06can use and so for example let's say we
- 1:10want um this client or we want a habit
- 1:13for a client which is cycling so I'm
- 1:15just going to click on that and it just
- 1:16preloads it for me and then I can modify
- 1:18it so let's run through each one of
- 1:20these fields so you can pick an emoji a
- 1:23title a description and but the main
- 1:25part of the Habit is picking the goal
- 1:28and and the period so for for example in
- 1:31this case we want the client to run 5
- 1:33miles now you can change the the unit
- 1:36type so in this case I'll keep it to a
- 1:38mile and so we want five miles and we
- 1:42want them to do this daily so complete
- 1:44five miles every single
- 1:46day and you can have a weekly habit so
- 1:51in this case let's say instead of 5
- 1:53minutes every day we want them to do
- 1:56maybe um 30 minutes every week so as
- 2:01long as they log 30 minutes within that
- 2:03week The Habit will be marked as
- 2:05completed so they might do 10 minutes
- 2:06one day 20 minutes the next day and then
- 2:09the habit for that week has been
- 2:11completed now you can further customize
- 2:13this maybe you want them to rest on the
- 2:15weekends and you don't necessarily want
- 2:17them to do the Habit on the weekend so
- 2:20you can just um Mark that as not for the
- 2:23weekends so that's uh the frequency so
- 2:26I'll keep it at 30 minutes every week um
- 2:29every day except Saturday and Sunday um
- 2:32so again as long as they complete that
- 2:33habit within that week doesn't matter
- 2:35when the Habit is completed now the next
- 2:37thing you have is duration so if you
- 2:40don't want to set duration you don't
- 2:41have to set duration but if you do um
- 2:43you can pick how many days you want the
- 2:45Habit to run for now this is useful to
- 2:48automatically set the end date for The
- 2:50Habit when you give it to the client so
- 2:53this is useful for cases where you might
- 2:55put these habits on your onboarding flow
- 2:57so it will automatically be given to a
- 2:59client and you want the end date to be
- 3:01automatically set so what the duration
- 3:03will do is it will set the end date 60
- 3:06days from now and let's say we want them
- 3:08to do this habit for 30 days so in in 30
- 3:11days from today it will end this habit
- 3:15for the clients and so I'll leave that
- 3:17on just to show you how that works and
- 3:20then you can also set a reminder so you
- 3:21can pick a time and a message and then
- 3:25they will receive this as a notification
- 3:27um on their phone and for this habit
- 3:31so I will go ahead and add this habit
- 3:33I'll do add
- 3:34habit and you can see here we've added
- 3:37the habit and so what I'm going to do
- 3:40now is head over to a client and show
- 3:44you how we can actually use this habit
- 3:47so I'll go to
- 3:48clients and over here I'll click on this
- 3:51account that I have Arnold and I'll go
- 3:54to his habit section over
- 3:57here so over here you'll see at the
- 3:59moment we we have um four different
- 4:03habits so I have this habit twice here
- 4:05so I'm just going to edit and just
- 4:07delete this habit just delete it but
- 4:10yeah you can see here we have three
- 4:12habits so one habit is set to start on
- 4:15July the 16th so this isn't active yet
- 4:18I'll show you what that looks like on
- 4:19the app for the client and we have
- 4:21another habit that has ended and right
- 4:23now we have a habit that is active here
- 4:25and you can see the client is on a three
- 4:28day streak since it's a daily habit now
- 4:32what this looks like for you as a coach
- 4:35is like this you have the streaks here
- 4:37they're longest streak in case they
- 4:39might have broken a streak how many
- 4:41times they've completed this habit and
- 4:43what's their completion rate and then
- 4:46you can view
- 4:47specific um logs that they've logged so
- 4:51you can see here they've logged 10,000
- 4:52steps on this day on this day and on
- 4:54this day if they attach a memo you can
- 4:56view the memo here and you can also
- 4:59modify these yourself maybe they've
- 5:01inputed wrong data so you can go ahead
- 5:03and correct that for them but you can
- 5:05also log data for your client so you
- 5:07have this log option now they can
- 5:09obviously do it from the app but in case
- 5:11they might miss something or you need to
- 5:12fix something you have full control to
- 5:14do
- 5:15so um and then you also have this
- 5:17overviews and this just gives you a
- 5:19weekly overview so you can pick any week
- 5:22and view the overview for that week so
- 5:25for example um at the moment we have
- 5:28this here Wednesday and that's the
- 5:31average for this uh
- 5:34Habit so let's go back to Habit and
- 5:36let's add a new habit for this client so
- 5:38I'll go ahead and click on new habit so
- 5:41we have three options here I can create
- 5:43a new habit from scratch so this is just
- 5:45the steps we just went through or I can
- 5:47select something from my library so we
- 5:49have four habits in our library or I can
- 5:51just use the hopef library I'm going to
- 5:53go ahead and click on the cycling habit
- 5:55that we
- 5:56created and you can see here it just
- 5:58populates everything from from the
- 6:00settings that we have in our library now
- 6:03um the this is what I meant by the end
- 6:05date you can see here um it
- 6:08automatically set the end date 30 days
- 6:10from now and so this lasts for 29 days
- 6:14including today so that's 30 days um I
- 6:17can turn this off if I want to uh but
- 6:19I'll just keep the end dat on for
- 6:21demonstration purposes and I'll just go
- 6:23ahead and do add
- 6:26habit and just like so we added a new
- 6:29habit for this client now I'm going to
- 6:32go over to the app to show you how the
- 6:34client can use the Habit feature so over
- 6:37here we have the hfit app so I'm logged
- 6:40in as that client and the first thing
- 6:42you'll see on the dashboard is they'll
- 6:45see the tasks so you can see here they
- 6:47have a daily check-in and they also have
- 6:48some habits um due for this day um so
- 6:52the habits that gets displayed on the
- 6:54dashboard are only the ones that are
- 6:56required for today but there's also a
- 6:58dedicated habit um tab which I will show
- 7:01you so the first thing I'll show you
- 7:02here is how to log a habit so you can
- 7:04see this habit for today has been
- 7:06completed and but we have this habit
- 7:08cycling and that is a weekly habit so I
- 7:12can go ahead and click on this plus icon
- 7:14click plus and I can add a memo from
- 7:17here I can reset habit from here and to
- 7:20add I can just click on this so I'll do
- 7:22add and let's say today I did 10 miles
- 7:25I'll just do add so now we are at
- 7:29progress of 10 as you can see 10 out of
- 7:3230 let's say you know I go cycling again
- 7:36and let's say this time I've done 25
- 7:39I'll just add that and there we go we
- 7:42just hit our Target so we're at 35 out
- 7:44of 30 and so that's quick access
- 7:48straight from the dashboard for the
- 7:49client but they can also go to this
- 7:51section here which is the Habit tab over
- 7:54here the client will see all their
- 7:56habits and the first thing you'll see is
- 7:58we have a habit here that has started
- 8:01and if they try click on this they will
- 8:03be told that this habit is not available
- 8:04yet it will only be available on that
- 8:06day so this allows you to stack habits
- 8:08and for the client and um prevent them
- 8:11from accessing it until that date um
- 8:14starts there's also a habit that has
- 8:16ended and so they can view their data
- 8:19but they can't um add anything new since
- 8:22this habit has ended so you'll see here
- 8:25it says this habit has ended and this is
- 8:27the data that you can view for a
- 8:28specific habit so the first thing here
- 8:30you see is how many times they've
- 8:32completed it their completion rate their
- 8:34current
- 8:35streak um their best streak the total
- 8:39volume and the average you'll also see
- 8:41here there is a chart so this chart
- 8:44displays um data uh over time but they
- 8:49can also view it from a calendar so if
- 8:51you click on this they can view the data
- 8:54for that period and so if I click on a
- 8:56specific day I can view what I logged um
- 9:03and yeah if you want more information on
- 9:04a habit you have this icon here so if I
- 9:07click on this I can get more information
- 9:09so any description you attach the days
- 9:11it's scheduled for and when the Habit
- 9:13ends so that's all available there for
- 9:15the client but if I go back to the the
- 9:18main part and you'll see here they'll
- 9:21also get an overview so they have this
- 9:23activity here which just shows
- 9:26them uh for that given month what days
- 9:28they've completed habit also get like a
- 9:30overview for the all of their habits and
- 9:33they can switch between month weekly or
- 9:37um over time so that's what they see
- 9:40there now let's actually click on a
- 9:42habit that is active so I'll just click
- 9:44on this habit for example and let's
- 9:47click on daily steps so this is a habit
- 9:49that's active similar to before um and
- 9:52they can just click on this icon here
- 9:55and if they want to and uh if they want
- 9:58to maybe fix something from yesterday or
- 10:00or backlog something they can just come
- 10:02here select the day for example let's
- 10:04say we want to add something for the eth
- 10:07we forgot to add some steps so we need
- 10:09to fix something so yeah you can come
- 10:10here and always um fix things from the
- 10:14past um so for the clients that's
- 10:17everything they can also uh come here
- 10:20and log straight from here but this we
- 10:22just have a shortcut on the dashboard to
- 10:24make it a little easier for them um so
- 10:27yeah that is that is almost everything
- 10:29for from the coach and the client side
- 10:31you can see it's very powerful and it
- 10:33looks very nice for the client and you
- 10:35have complete control over everything in
- 10:37terms of restricting access until a
- 10:40habit starts ending a habit and yeah you
- 10:43can amend any data that the client may
- 10:45have entered incorrectly so that's
- 10:47everything for the Habit coaching if you
