- 0:03Hey guys, in this video we're going to
- 0:05be looking at Hope Fit's challenges
- 0:07feature. I'm going to show you how it
- 0:08works in both the coach side and the
- 0:10client side. Right now I am logged in as
- 0:12a coach and I am in the challenges
- 0:15section. This is where you can create
- 0:17and manage all of your challenges. So to
- 0:19create a challenge, you will see this
- 0:21add challenge option over here.
- 0:23You'll see here you're able to create
- 0:25two types of challenges. One is the
- 0:27leaderboard challenge and the other is
- 0:28the milestone challenge. The leaderboard
- 0:30challenge is where participants will
- 0:32compete for the highest rank. It is
- 0:34ideal for a competitive challenge.
- 0:36Clients will be ranked and first,
- 0:38second, and third place will appear on a
- 0:40podium. The milestone challenge is a
- 0:42challenge where all clients can win by
- 0:45unlocking badges as they hit each
- 0:47milestone. I'm going to show you how
- 0:48both the leaderboard and the milestone
- 0:50challenge works. So if we want to create
- 0:52a leaderboard challenge, we can click on
- 0:54this and then click continue. Here
- 0:56you'll see you'll have the option to
- 0:57pick your cover image. You can click on
- 0:59the change option to change the cover
- 1:01image. Here you'll see Hope Fit's
- 1:03pre-built library of cover images, but
- 1:05you can also add your own images over
- 1:07here. You can pick the challenge name,
- 1:09the description, and then you can pick
- 1:11the challenge type. There are several
- 1:13different challenge types. So here you
- 1:15have total steps. For clients to
- 1:17participate in this challenge, they will
- 1:19need to connect either Apple Health or
- 1:21Health Connect and the steps from there
- 1:23will count towards this challenge. You
- 1:25then have the workouts challenge. So you
- 1:27have three different challenges for
- 1:29workout, the total workouts completed,
- 1:31the total workout volume, and the total
- 1:33reps. For clients to participate in this
- 1:35challenge, they need to track their
- 1:36workouts within the Hope Fit app. And
- 1:39over here you have the nutrition
- 1:40challenges. So there's total days
- 1:42logged, the calorie target days, so the
- 1:44days that they were within their calorie
- 1:46target, and then the days that they were
- 1:48within their protein target. For clients
- 1:50to participate in the nutrition
- 1:51challenges, they will need to log their
- 1:53meals in the Hope Fit in-app tracker. So
- 1:56you can select the challenge that you
- 1:57want, and then you can pick a start and
- 2:00end date. You can pick a challenge for a
- 2:02future day if you want to pre-build your
- 2:04challenges and have them ready
- 2:05beforehand. So, that's how you can
- 2:07create your leaderboard challenge. I'm
- 2:09now going to go back and show you how we
- 2:10can create a milestone challenge. So, if
- 2:13I click on milestone and click continue,
- 2:15you'll see here you'll have the same
- 2:17options for adding the challenge with
- 2:19the same challenge types. The only
- 2:21difference is picking a badge theme and
- 2:23then picking the milestone where each
- 2:25badge is earned. If I click on the badge
- 2:27theme, you'll see all the different
- 2:28types of themes you can have for the
- 2:30badges. For example, if you click on
- 2:32animals, you'll see the badge theme is
- 2:34animals. If you want just a standard
- 2:36medal, you can pick that, and that is
- 2:38the badges that they will earn as they
- 2:39hit each milestone. So, if we selected
- 2:42the total steps challenge, I can then go
- 2:45ahead and pick the threshold for each of
- 2:47the milestones. So, let's say for
- 2:49bronze, they can earn this when they get
- 2:5110,000 steps, and then when they get
- 2:5320,000 steps, they will get the silver,
- 2:55and if they get 50,000 steps, they can
- 2:57get the gold, and so on until you fill
- 2:59the last one. So, you can preset the
- 3:01milestones however you want, and you can
- 3:03pick the themes to match the challenge
- 3:05that you want to run. So, that is all
- 3:07for creating a challenge. You also have
- 3:09the templates over here. Here you can
- 3:11browse templates to get ideas of
- 3:13different challenges to run, and you can
- 3:15quickly set up a challenge by using one
- 3:17of these templates. For example, over
- 3:19here we have a 1 million steps
- 3:21challenge. If I click on this, I can
- 3:23preview the challenge, see the different
- 3:25badges that's earned, and the
- 3:26milestones. And here I can preview what
- 3:28it would look like in the app. To use a
- 3:30template, you can click on this use
- 3:32template. So, if we click on this,
- 3:34you'll see here it will pre-fill
- 3:35everything. You can further modify the
- 3:37challenge if you want to, and then you
- 3:38can hit create challenge. So, that's how
- 3:40you can create challenges and browse the
- 3:42templates. I'm now going to show you how
- 3:44the challenges actually look. Over here
- 3:46we have two different challenges.
- 3:47They're both step challenges. One is a
- 3:49milestone challenge, and one is a
- 3:51leaderboard challenge. I'm going to show
- 3:52you how each of these different modes
- 3:54look like. We can start off with the
- 3:56leaderboard challenge. So, if I go ahead
- 3:58and click on this leaderboard challenge,
- 4:00over here you can see the cover image,
- 4:03you can see the name and the
- 4:04participants and about section. This is
- 4:07where you have your description. Here
- 4:08you have an overview of the challenge
- 4:10and here you have your leaderboard with
- 4:12the clients that are participating. So,
- 4:14you'll see here you have your podium
- 4:16with the top three clients. Here you can
- 4:18see this client is ranked number one and
- 4:20you can see how many steps they've
- 4:21gotten in total and over here you can
- 4:23see the remaining clients. Here you'll
- 4:25see the countdown for how long is left
- 4:27for the challenge. To add a client to a
- 4:29challenge, you can click on this manage
- 4:31access. You will receive notifications
- 4:33for the challenge. You can control that
- 4:35here if you want to turn them off. You
- 4:37can edit a challenge by clicking on this
- 4:38option here. You'll be able to edit the
- 4:40image, the name, description and the end
- 4:43date if you want to extend the
- 4:45challenge.
- 4:46So, that's the leaderboard challenge.
- 4:48I'm now going to head over to the
- 4:49milestone challenge to show you what
- 4:51that looks like.
- 4:53So, here you'll see the challenge looks
- 4:54the same. The only difference is there's
- 4:56no leaderboard where the clients are
- 4:57ranked. Instead, they all collect badges
- 5:00and then you'll see in the list ordered
- 5:02by who's collected the most badges right
- 5:04now. So, for example, you'll see this
- 5:06client over here has collected all five
- 5:08badges and you can see the total steps
- 5:10they've gotten so far in this challenge.
- 5:12You can see the milestones that you've
- 5:14set for this challenge over here. So,
- 5:16that is how you can create and manage
- 5:17your challenges. I'm now going to switch
- 5:19over to the client app to show you how
- 5:20the challenges looks like from the
- 5:22client side. So, I now have the client
- 5:24app open and I'm logged in as a client.
- 5:27I have the home tab open over here and
- 5:29this is where the clients can see their
- 5:31challenges. So, here you can see that I
- 5:33am in two challenges. One thing that's
- 5:35nice about Hope fitness challenge system
- 5:37is that clients can be in multiple
- 5:39challenges at the one time. You'll see
- 5:41here the first challenge is the
- 5:42milestone challenge and the client can
- 5:44see the badges that they have earned
- 5:46from the outside. And here this is a
- 5:48leaderboard challenge, and the client
- 5:50can see their current leaderboard rank
- 5:52from outside. I will go ahead and click
- 5:54on the leaderboard first to show you
- 5:55what that looks like.
- 5:57So here, the clients will be able to see
- 5:59the countdown for the challenge. If
- 6:01you've added any instructions, notes, or
- 6:02rules, they'll be able to view it by
- 6:04clicking this. And here, they can see
- 6:06the leaderboard with all the
- 6:07participants. Here, clients can share
- 6:10their current challenge progress to
- 6:12their social media, such as Instagram or
- 6:14Facebook. So it's integrated directly.
- 6:16If I click this, you can see all the
- 6:18different badges that they can share. So
- 6:20if we swipe, they can share and show the
- 6:23top five. They can show the top three in
- 6:26the podium, and there's several
- 6:28different options that they can share.
- 6:30So if I go ahead and click on the
- 6:31Instagram option here, it will open it
- 6:34directly in the story.
- 6:36And here, you can see the client can
- 6:37move this around. They can tag you. If
- 6:40you have your branding set within
- 6:41Hopefit, that will appear here instead
- 6:43of the Hopefit logo and the name. And
- 6:46the colors here will be based on your
- 6:47branding theme color once that is set.
- 6:50So this is a good way to get brand
- 6:51awareness from your clients sharing
- 6:54their challenges. I will now go ahead
- 6:56and show you what the milestone
- 6:58challenge looks like. So I will click on
- 6:59this first challenge here. The clients
- 7:01will be able to see all of the milestone
- 7:03over here and the threshold they have to
- 7:05achieve to earn each badge. Over here,
- 7:08the client can see the total steps that
- 7:10they have earned throughout this
- 7:11challenge. And here, they can see all
- 7:13the participants. Now, the participants
- 7:15do not display any sort of ranking, so
- 7:17it's just purely based on the badges
- 7:19that they've earned. Here, you can see
- 7:21each badge that the participant have
- 7:23earned. So in this case, they've earned
- 7:24five. This participant here has earned
- 7:27four. For the milestone, there's also
- 7:29special cards that can be shared by
- 7:30clicking this. I'll show you what that
- 7:32looks like. Here, the client can share
- 7:34specific badges,
- 7:36the badges that they're earning, and
- 7:38they have several different options that
- 7:40they can and onto social media. They can
- 7:42also click on these milestones if
- 7:44they've earned a badge and they want to
- 7:46share it. So, for example, if I want to
- 7:48share this gold badge, I can click on
- 7:50this and I can click on share to
- 7:52Instagram. So, that's how the challenges
- 7:54looks like from the client side on the
- 7:56app. I will now switch over to the coach
- 7:58side of the app to show you how it looks
- 8:00like on the coach app. So, here I am
- 8:01logged in as the coach and these are the
- 8:04challenges that we currently have
- 8:05running. I'll go ahead and click on the
- 8:07first challenge.
- 8:08And here you'll see this is the
- 8:09milestone challenge. So, similar to what
- 8:11we just saw on the client side, one
- 8:13difference here is that you will see the
- 8:15total steps across all clients. So,
- 8:17you'll see here the total steps is 2
- 8:19million across all the clients that are
- 8:21in this challenge. And here you'll see
- 8:23the total badges across all clients and
- 8:25how many have been earned so far. You
- 8:27can control your settings from here for
- 8:29the notifications. And you also have the
- 8:31ability to share to social media. From
- 8:34the coach side, you will get different
- 8:35sort of cards that you can share. So,
- 8:37I'll show you what that looks like.
- 8:38Here, for example, if you have an
- 8:39upcoming challenge with the dates and
- 8:42the different milestones, you can share
- 8:43that. So, if you want to show a teaser
- 8:45of an upcoming challenge, you can use
- 8:47this card. And then you have multiple
- 8:49different cards to show the top five
- 8:51badges that were earned, to show the
- 8:53hall of fame of the different users. So,
- 8:55there's several different options where
- 8:56you can show upcoming challenge or the
- 8:58current challenge progress. I will now
- 9:00show you what the leaderboard looks like
- 9:01from the coach point of view. So, I'll
- 9:03click on this leaderboard challenge.
- 9:05Here you will see the leaderboard,
- 9:07similar to what we just saw. And in this
- 9:09case, you also get certain cards that
- 9:11you can share onto social media. I'll go
- 9:13ahead and show you what that looks like.
- 9:15Here you can see you can share several
- 9:17different cards. You can share the
- 9:18podium.
- 9:20And you have several different options.
- 9:22So, that is everything when it comes to
- 9:23the challenges in Hopefit. If you have
- 9:25any questions, feel free to leave them
- 9:27in the comments below.
