- 0:03Hey guys, in this video we're going to
- 0:05be looking at HubFit's nutrition system.
- 0:07I'm going to show you how the nutrition
- 0:08builder works, how you can assign the
- 0:10nutrition plans to your client, and then
- 0:12how nutrition plans look like from the
- 0:14client side. So, let's jump right into
- 0:16it. Over here, I'm in the nutrition tab
- 0:18of our library. So, this is where you
- 0:20can build out your library of meal
- 0:21plans. You'll see here there are three
- 0:23options. You have a section for your
- 0:24meal plans, you have a section for your
- 0:26meals, and then you also have one for
- 0:28your foods. I'm going to jump into each
- 0:29one of these. For now, we're going to
- 0:31look at the plans section. So, here
- 0:33you'll see we have three meal plans in
- 0:35our library. So, to create a nutrition
- 0:37plan, you'll see this add plan option
- 0:39here. You'll see that you can add a
- 0:41name, a description, and then you can
- 0:43pick the type of meal. So, with Hook
- 0:45Fit, there's two types of nutrition
- 0:46plans you can have. You can have a full
- 0:48meal plan. So, a meal plan is a way to
- 0:50build meals with recipes, ingredients,
- 0:52instructions, or you can just have a
- 0:54macros plan. So instead of assigning a
- 0:55full meal plan, you can just give them
- 0:57the macros goal for the meal or for the
- 0:59day. I'm going to show you what both
- 1:00looks like, but first let's look at meal
- 1:03plans. So I have this training day meal
- 1:05plan. I'll go ahead and click on this.
- 1:06Here we have our meal. The first thing
- 1:08you'll see is that you have your macros
- 1:10at the top here. And then you have your
- 1:12meals. Here you can see we have for
- 1:14example breakfast. And in this breakfast
- 1:16meal there are two different options. We
- 1:18have option one and option two. You can
- 1:19add multiple different options per meal.
- 1:21To create a meal, you'll see this add
- 1:23meal button. Here you'll have four
- 1:26options to create a meal. You can add
- 1:28something directly from your library.
- 1:30You can use the HubFit library or you
- 1:32can use AI to create a meal or if you
- 1:34want, you can just create a new meal
- 1:36from scratch. I'm going to go ahead and
- 1:38select something from my own library. So
- 1:40here I'll click on fish and steamed
- 1:42vegetables. So if I scroll to the
- 1:44bottom, you'll see we have this new
- 1:45meal. So if I go ahead and click on this
- 1:47meal, you'll see the meal builder pops
- 1:49up. The meal builder is how you can
- 1:51create and modify each meal. Here you'll
- 1:53see on the left you have the food
- 1:56section and you have both your own food
- 1:58library or the food database that you
- 2:00can use. What's nice is if there's
- 2:01something that's not in the food
- 2:02database, maybe a specific brand or a
- 2:05specific ingredient, you can always add
- 2:06it into your own library. Here you'll
- 2:08see you have the option to edit the
- 2:11name. So if you want to edit the name,
- 2:12you can just click on this and modify
- 2:15the name. If you want to edit the
- 2:16description, you have this. And if you
- 2:18want to edit the meal image, you can
- 2:20click on this and change the image. Here
- 2:22you have the macros for the meal. And
- 2:24then here you'll see two options. One is
- 2:25the ingredients. So this is where you
- 2:27can add all your ingredients. At the
- 2:29moment we have fish and mixed
- 2:31vegetables. And you'll see here you have
- 2:33the servings. So if I want to modify
- 2:35this, let's say we want to have 210 g.
- 2:38You can modify that. And what's nice is
- 2:39as you're editing the serving size, this
- 2:41updates in real time. So, it makes it
- 2:43easier for you to modify the serving
- 2:45sizes to get the macros that you want.
- 2:47Let's add a new ingredient. So, let's
- 2:49say we want to add some sweet potatoes.
- 2:51We have sweet potatoes here. I'm going
- 2:52to go ahead and click on this plus icon.
- 2:54And just like that, this has been added
- 2:56into our meal. I can go ahead and modify
- 2:58the servings. Let's say we want 100 g of
- 3:01sweet potato. And just like that, we've
- 3:02modified the serving. Now, if you want
- 3:04to add a description or modify the name
- 3:06of the food, you can always do that by
- 3:08clicking this button over here. If I
- 3:09click on this, I can say that I can add
- 3:13this description. And here you can see
- 3:14the description shows right here. And if
- 3:16you want to add instructions for the
- 3:18meal, you can click on this instructions
- 3:19here. And then you can add a specific
- 3:22instruction or prep instructions.
- 3:24Anything you want can be added directly
- 3:26in this instructions section. You also
- 3:28have this button here which allows you
- 3:30to save a meal to your library. So let's
- 3:32say you create something in your
- 3:33client's meal plan or in your meal plan
- 3:36template and you want to actually save
- 3:37that meal to your library. So you can
- 3:39reuse it later. You can just click on
- 3:40this and then you can do save. And now
- 3:42that meal has been added to your own
- 3:44meal library. So that's everything with
- 3:46the meal builder. It's very easy to use
- 3:48and you have full control over the meal.
- 3:50We can also add an alternative. So let's
- 3:52say we want multiple options. If you
- 3:54click on this dropdown over here, you'll
- 3:56see that there's a add alternative. I'll
- 3:57click on this and let's say we also want
- 4:00to add some beef stir fry. And now we
- 4:04have two options for this meal. Now
- 4:06you'll see here this is called meal
- 4:08five. Let's actually rename this. So if
- 4:09I click on this dropdown and do rename
- 4:11this block and I can call this, for
- 4:13example, dinner. I'll do rename. And now
- 4:16we've created a dinner meal with two
- 4:18options. You'll see here you have these
- 4:19two options. This edit option allows you
- 4:22to edit the meal plan name and
- 4:24description. And then you also have this
- 4:26reposition option. This allows you to
- 4:29reposition your meal. So I can move,
- 4:31let's say we want to have snack just
- 4:33before lunch. And you can also reorder
- 4:35the options within the meal. So, I want
- 4:37maybe this first and then I'll do save
- 4:39order. And just like that, we've
- 4:41reordered our meal. So, that's
- 4:43everything for creating a meal plan. I'm
- 4:45going to head back to our plans. And now
- 4:48I'm going to show you the macros plan.
- 4:50So, over here we have a macros plan. So,
- 4:52let's go ahead and click on this. Here
- 4:53you'll see you have the ability to
- 4:55create a plan by just specifying the
- 4:58macros. So, for example, I've said
- 4:59breakfast for this breakfast meal. I've
- 5:01added the macros that we want. I've
- 5:03added some notes and I've added the meal
- 5:05name. To add a meal, I can just click on
- 5:06this add meal option. And then if I
- 5:08scroll to the bottom, you'll see here I
- 5:10can say snack 2. I can give it a
- 5:13description. And then I can just specify
- 5:16the macros that we want them to have. So
- 5:19this is a way to give them a plan by
- 5:21just specifying macros. You also have
- 5:23the option to either have macros by
- 5:26meal, which is what you have here. You
- 5:27have the macros breakdown at a meal
- 5:29level, or you can just have a total
- 5:31macros plan instead of breaking it down
- 5:33by meal. So, if I switch this to total
- 5:35macros, you'll see here I can just
- 5:37specify the macros without having to
- 5:39specify it at a meal level. Next, let's
- 5:41head over to the meals tab. And here,
- 5:43you'll see you have your own meals that
- 5:45you've created. You can create them
- 5:47directly in your meal library, or you
- 5:49can export them from your meal plan like
- 5:51we saw earlier. Here, if I click on a
- 5:52meal, you'll see it's the same editor
- 5:54that we just saw earlier on. The one
- 5:56difference is you'll see this category
- 5:58option and this allows you to categorize
- 6:01your meals so that you can filter
- 6:03through them when you're searching for
- 6:04them. Here you have your foods library.
- 6:07I showed you earlier. You can create
- 6:08your own food in the meal builder.
- 6:10Whenever you create a food, it goes into
- 6:12this food library which is your own
- 6:13personal food library. So that's
- 6:15everything when it comes to creating
- 6:17your nutrition plans and how your
- 6:19library works. I'm now going to show you
- 6:21how you can use this with a client. So
- 6:22over here I have a client open and we
- 6:24are in the nutrition section of their
- 6:26profile. Right now I have meal plans
- 6:28open. There's also nutrition logger.
- 6:30There's a separate video for that if you
- 6:32want more information on how that works.
- 6:33Over here you can see there are two
- 6:35nutrition plans for this client. If I
- 6:37click on this nutrition plan, you'll see
- 6:38it's the exact same interface. So the
- 6:40editor and everything works the same
- 6:42way. You'll see here you have an option
- 6:44to add a plan for this client. So if I
- 6:46click on this, you'll see you have two
- 6:47options. You can create a plan from
- 6:49scratch, which would take you through
- 6:50the exact same steps we went through, or
- 6:52you can import something from your
- 6:54library. If you import something from
- 6:55your library, it creates a copy. And
- 6:57what that means is that you can modify
- 6:59the imported plan without affecting your
- 7:01library. So, you can import something to
- 7:02your client's plan, modify it for that
- 7:04specific client and it won't affect your
- 7:06own library. Another thing that's nice
- 7:07is you can add multiple plans for a
- 7:09client. So, if you want to split it into
- 7:11certain days such as training day or
- 7:13rest day, you can do so. If you want to
- 7:14split it by weekdays, you can also do
- 7:16that. or if you want to give them
- 7:18different options. So that's everything
- 7:19to creating meal plans from both client
- 7:22side and the coach side. I'm now going
- 7:24to jump into the client app to show you
- 7:25how these nutrition plans look like on
- 7:27the client side. So right now I am
- 7:29logged in as a client in the client app
- 7:32and I have the nutrition tab open and
- 7:34I'm in the meal plans option. So here we
- 7:36have a meal plan open. I have the
- 7:38training day meal. Here you can see the
- 7:40macros for the meal and then all the
- 7:42meals in this meal plan. So here for
- 7:44example we have lunch. You'll see the
- 7:46total calories for this meal along with
- 7:48the macros for this meal. If I go ahead
- 7:50and click on this meal, I can view the
- 7:52meal here. You'll see you have the image
- 7:54with the name, the calories, the macros.
- 7:57Here is the ingredients. They can view
- 7:59the servings. If you add custom note to
- 8:01an ingredient, they can view that here.
- 8:03And if you attach any instructions, they
- 8:06can be viewed at the bottom. There's
- 8:07also this option to log the meal. So,
- 8:09this allows the user to log their meals
- 8:11directly from their meal plan into the
- 8:13nutrition tracker. So, it would work
- 8:14like this. They click on log meal, they
- 8:16get prompted to pick the meal they want
- 8:18to log it into. So let's say we want to
- 8:19log this into lunch. I can do log meal
- 8:21and that's now logged into the nutrition
- 8:23logger. So I'll quickly show you what
- 8:25that looks like. If we head back to the
- 8:26log food section here, you'll see we
- 8:29just logged this meal directly from our
- 8:31meal plan. There's two options over here
- 8:33beside each meal. The first option is to
- 8:36log the meal from the outside without
- 8:38having to open the meal. Then there's
- 8:40this option here that is displayed if
- 8:42you've attached multiple options. So
- 8:44here for example the breakfast meal. If
- 8:45I click on the meal options I can see
- 8:47that there are four different meal
- 8:49options that I can switch out to. If
- 8:50you've given the client multiple
- 8:52different nutrition plans they can
- 8:54switch to the different ones using this
- 8:55button here. So you'll see here we have
- 8:58multiple different meal plans. If I
- 9:00click on rest day meal plans I can
- 9:01switch and view that rest day meal plan.
- 9:03I also have a macros plan to show you
- 9:05what that looks like. So here we have a
- 9:07macros plan. If I click on this you'll
- 9:09see this is just a macros plan that is
- 9:12split by meals. So here we have
- 9:14breakfast and the macros for that meal.
- 9:16Over here we have the total macros for
- 9:17this meal plan. So that is everything
- 9:19when it comes to the nutrition builder
- 9:20on the Hubit platform and how it's
- 9:22viewed on the client app. If you have
- 9:24any questions or anything, feel free to
- 9:25leave them in the comments below.
