  1. 0:03Hey guys, in this video I'm going to
  2. 0:05show you Hopit's inapp nutrition
  3. 0:06tracker. We're going to look at it from
  4. 0:08the client side and how they can
  5. 0:09actually log their meals. And then from
  6. 0:11the coach side, I'm going to show you
  7. 0:12how you can view these logged meals, how
  8. 0:14the compliance tracker works, and how to
  9. 0:16set macros target. So, let's jump
  10. 0:17straight into it. Right here, I have the
  11. 0:19client app open. I am in the nutrition
  12. 0:21section of the app, and we're currently
  13. 0:23in the log food section. Here is where
  14. 0:25they can see their macros along with the
  15. 0:28goal. So if you set a goal, they will
  16. 0:30see the goal. So for example, the goal
  17. 0:32for the calories is 1,530. They haven't
  18. 0:34consumed anything yet. Once they do,
  19. 0:36they'll see how many of those calories
  20. 0:38are left. And here they can see the
  21. 0:40target for their macros. So for example,
  22. 0:42the target for the carbs is 150. And
  23. 0:45they can see how many of that they've
  24. 0:46logged so far. Over here there's a note
  25. 0:48option. This allows them to add a note
  26. 0:50for a specific day. And over here,
  27. 0:52there's a couple of options that they
  28. 0:54have. So there's the macros breakdown,
  29. 0:55which I will show you later. Over here
  30. 0:57they can copy the previous day's logged
  31. 0:59meals. This makes logging meals much
  32. 1:01faster. And here if they want to reset
  33. 1:03the day, they can do that from this
  34. 1:04option. So to log a food in a meal, you
  35. 1:07can click this add food option. Here
  36. 1:08you'll see there's a couple of options.
  37. 1:10There's the food. So you can just search
  38. 1:12the food from our food database. You can
  39. 1:15also have pre-saved meals. And if
  40. 1:17there's a food that's not in the
  41. 1:18database, they can always come in here
  42. 1:20and add it in their own library. Over
  43. 1:22here there's a barcode scanner. So, if I
  44. 1:24click on this, I'm currently on the
  45. 1:25simulator, so I can't use it, but it
  46. 1:27works just as any barcode scanner would
  47. 1:29work. So, let's go ahead and search
  48. 1:31something. Let's do chicken. Let's go
  49. 1:33ahead and add this first one here. So, I
  50. 1:36can either click this to quickly add it,
  51. 1:38or I can click on the full food to view
  52. 1:41more information. I can view the macros.
  53. 1:43And if I want to modify the servings, I
  54. 1:45can modify this. So, let's go ahead and
  55. 1:47just click add. So, that's been logged
  56. 1:50into our meal. Now, let's look for a
  57. 1:52wrap. and we'll add this one here. I'll
  58. 1:54just quick add. So that's logged into
  59. 1:56our meal. So if I go back to our meal
  60. 1:59tracker, you can see here is the two
  61. 2:01food that we just logged. We can see the
  62. 2:03macros so far for this meal. We can see
  63. 2:05the total calories for this meal. And we
  64. 2:08can see our consumed calories versus
  65. 2:10what was assigned. So for example, so
  66. 2:11far we've consumed 20 grams of the
  67. 2:14target and we can see how many calories
  68. 2:16we have remaining. Client can always
  69. 2:17click on this option here to save a meal
  70. 2:20to their meal library. This makes
  71. 2:21logging a meal easier. So, we'll give
  72. 2:23this a name. We'll just call this
  73. 2:24chicken wrap. And I'll just do add. That
  74. 2:27way, the next time they want to log a
  75. 2:28meal, they can just do add food. They
  76. 2:30can go into their meals and then they
  77. 2:32can see all their meals. They can also
  78. 2:33just create an entirely new meal if they
  79. 2:35want to do so. But here, you see this is
  80. 2:36the meal we just added. Next thing I
  81. 2:38want to show you is the client can
  82. 2:40actually log meals directly from the
  83. 2:43meal plans that you give them. So, here
  84. 2:45we have our meal plan tab and this is
  85. 2:47the meals that is assigned by the coach.
  86. 2:49So here you will see that we have a
  87. 2:51meal. So this is training day meal. We
  88. 2:53have two meals assigned, training and
  89. 2:55rest day. And here are all the different
  90. 2:56meals that we have. We can also switch
  91. 2:58between the multiple different options.
  92. 3:00If I click on this, I can see that there
  93. 3:01were two different meals assigned for
  94. 3:03this breakfast meal. So I can switch and
  95. 3:05what the client can do is they can click
  96. 3:07to view the meal. So here they can view
  97. 3:09the meal and they'll see a log option
  98. 3:10over here. If I go ahead and click on
  99. 3:12this log option, I can log it directly
  100. 3:15into my meals. So let's say we want to
  101. 3:17log this into lunch. I can click lunch
  102. 3:19and I can do log meal and just like that
  103. 3:21they've logged directly from their meal
  104. 3:23plan that you've assigned to them
  105. 3:25straight into their nutrition tracker.
  106. 3:26There's also the option to do it from
  107. 3:28the outside. So for example, if I want
  108. 3:29to click on this and let's say we want
  109. 3:31to add this dinner meal and I'll do log
  110. 3:34meal. And if I go back into our log
  111. 3:36section, you'll see here we've just
  112. 3:38logged the dinner meal straight from the
  113. 3:40meal plan assigned to them and the lunch
  114. 3:43straight from the meal plan again. And
  115. 3:45what's nice is they can always click on
  116. 3:47it and modify. So if they eat more than
  117. 3:49what was assigned or eat less, they can
  118. 3:51always come here and modify it. So
  119. 3:53that's what the nutrition tracker looks
  120. 3:54like from the client side. Let's switch
  121. 3:56to the coach side and see how we can
  122. 3:58actually view this data. So here we have
  123. 4:00the coach side. So at the moment I am in
  124. 4:02the nutrition tab of the client profile
  125. 4:04and I'm in the nutrition logger section.
  126. 4:07So first of all, you'll see that we can
  127. 4:09filter between the different weeks. So,
  128. 4:11if I click on this right now, we're in
  129. 4:13this week and you can navigate between
  130. 4:15all the different weeks. Here you'll see
  131. 4:17there's a macros target option and this
  132. 4:19is how you can set the client's macros
  133. 4:20target. So, if I click on this for
  134. 4:22example, you'll see here we have this as
  135. 4:24the macros target. If you have a
  136. 4:26separate macros target for rest days,
  137. 4:28you can turn that on and then you can
  138. 4:30specify the macros target for that day.
  139. 4:32You can go ahead and enter the macros
  140. 4:34target and as you're entering it, it
  141. 4:37will automatically calculate the
  142. 4:38calories for you based on the input.
  143. 4:40Now, what's really nice is you don't
  144. 4:42have to enter all of these. So, for
  145. 4:44example, let's say you just want to give
  146. 4:46them a protein target. You can just set
  147. 4:48this without having to fill in the
  148. 4:50remaining fields. If you just wanted to
  149. 4:52give them a calories target instead of
  150. 4:54specifying these macros, you can do so.
  151. 4:57Here you can see the macros in a graph
  152. 4:59format for this week. What's nice is you
  153. 5:02can turn on the different options. So,
  154. 5:04for example, if we just want to view
  155. 5:05calories and maybe turn off fiber, fats,
  156. 5:08carbs, protein, you can do so. If you
  157. 5:10want to maybe just view the protein and
  158. 5:12carbs and turn off calories, you can do
  159. 5:14so as well. Over here, you'll see the
  160. 5:15macros breakdown. Now, this shows you
  161. 5:17the average along with the total. The
  162. 5:19average here is based on the days they
  163. 5:21log. So, for example, if they just log 5
  164. 5:24days of the week, the average would be
  165. 5:26based on those 5 days. Over here is
  166. 5:27where you can view their logged meals
  167. 5:29along with the compliance. So, here
  168. 5:31you'll see that there's these indicators
  169. 5:32that is for the compliance and you'll
  170. 5:34see the compliance for the week. So in
  171. 5:36this case, the compliance is 3 out of
  172. 5:38seven because they've only met the
  173. 5:39target in these 3 days. Now these
  174. 5:41indicators mean different things which I
  175. 5:43will jump through. If you don't set a
  176. 5:45target, you won't see these indicators.
  177. 5:47Instead, you'll just see a gray color
  178. 5:49just indicating that they've logged
  179. 5:51something on this day. Green means that
  180. 5:52they're on target. Now, there's a buffer
  181. 5:54of 10%. So if they're off by 10% or over
  182. 5:57by 10%, it would count it as they're on
  183. 5:59target. So, for example, if the protein
  184. 6:01goal is 100 and they're 10% over or 10%
  185. 6:04under, we'd consider it within target.
  186. 6:06So, if they get 97 out of the 100, it
  187. 6:08would be green. But if they get
  188. 6:10significantly over or significantly
  189. 6:11lower, it would be either yellow or red.
  190. 6:14Yellow means they were close to the
  191. 6:16target. And then red would mean they
  192. 6:18were way off. So, I'll jump into each
  193. 6:20one of those to show you what that looks
  194. 6:21like. So, if we click on this day, for
  195. 6:23example, on the Saturday where it was
  196. 6:25green, you'll see here that you can view
  197. 6:27the full logged meal, but for now, we're
  198. 6:28going to focus on the compliance side
  199. 6:30here, you'll see that they've hit the
  200. 6:32calories that you've assigned. So,
  201. 6:33you've assigned 1,530 and they've hit
  202. 6:361,580. So, they were over by 50, which
  203. 6:39is within the range, so it counts it as
  204. 6:41on track. Over here, they were off by 7.
  205. 6:44Over here, they had five remaining. So,
  206. 6:46if you look here, they hit 115 out of
  207. 6:47the 120 that you've assigned as a
  208. 6:49target. The yellow means that they may
  209. 6:51be below or over target. So for example,
  210. 6:54if I click on Wednesday, you'll see here
  211. 6:56four fats, they did indeed hit the
  212. 6:58target, but for the remaining macros,
  213. 7:00they were way off. Now you will also see
  214. 7:02yellow if they surpass the target you've
  215. 7:04assigned. So for example, here you'll
  216. 7:06see that for calories, they were off by
  217. 7:09240 calories. So in this case, it
  218. 7:12exceeded the assigned target. And here
  219. 7:14again, you see that it was over by 20.
  220. 7:16And then you'll see that there's this
  221. 7:18red indicator and this just means that
  222. 7:21they're way off. So in this case, they
  223. 7:23did indeed hit two targets, but they
  224. 7:25were way off in terms of carbs. So you
  225. 7:28get these indicators from outside. And
  226. 7:30what's nice is you can actually align
  227. 7:31these indicators with the weekly chart.
  228. 7:34So if I put this on, for example, you'll
  229. 7:36see here we got a red indicator on
  230. 7:38Thursday. And if we look at Thursday the
  231. 7:4018th, we can see that there was a drop
  232. 7:42in carbs. In this case, for example, on
  233. 7:44the 19th, it was a yellow indicator and
  234. 7:46we can see they've overexceeded in the
  235. 7:48curbs. Here you'll see that there's a
  236. 7:50notes icon and this just indicates if a
  237. 7:53client left a note on a specific day.
  238. 7:55So, you get to see it from here to know
  239. 7:56that if you click on this, you can
  240. 7:58actually see the comments that they've
  241. 8:00left. Now, let's actually dive into the
  242. 8:01logged nutrition here. If you scroll,
  243. 8:03you can see their full logged meals for
  244. 8:05a specific day. You can see the meal
  245. 8:07that they've logged, all the different
  246. 8:09foods, the servings for that food, along
  247. 8:11with the macros for each specific food,
  248. 8:14and then the overall macros for that
  249. 8:16meal. You can also view the client's log
  250. 8:18nutrition through the coach app. So, I'm
  251. 8:20going to switch to the coach app to
  252. 8:21quickly show you how you can do that.
  253. 8:23So, right now, we are in the coach app.
  254. 8:25I am in the clients tab. And at the
  255. 8:26moment, I have this one client that
  256. 8:28we're going to click on
  257. 8:30here. If we navigate to the profile
  258. 8:33section, you will see this log
  259. 8:35nutrition. And if I go ahead and click
  260. 8:37on this, you can view directly from the
  261. 8:39coach app the client's logged meals. So
  262. 8:42I can navigate through the different
  263. 8:44days to see their logged meals. And I
  264. 8:46can also click on the macros breakdown
  265. 8:48to view the macro breakdown for that
  266. 8:50day. So that's everything for the inapp
  267. 8:52nutrition tracker. If you have any
  268. 8:54questions or anything, feel free to
  269. 8:55leave them in the comments below.
