- 0:03Hey guys, in this video I'm going to
- 0:05show you Hopit's inapp nutrition
- 0:06tracker. We're going to look at it from
- 0:08the client side and how they can
- 0:09actually log their meals. And then from
- 0:11the coach side, I'm going to show you
- 0:12how you can view these logged meals, how
- 0:14the compliance tracker works, and how to
- 0:16set macros target. So, let's jump
- 0:17straight into it. Right here, I have the
- 0:19client app open. I am in the nutrition
- 0:21section of the app, and we're currently
- 0:23in the log food section. Here is where
- 0:25they can see their macros along with the
- 0:28goal. So if you set a goal, they will
- 0:30see the goal. So for example, the goal
- 0:32for the calories is 1,530. They haven't
- 0:34consumed anything yet. Once they do,
- 0:36they'll see how many of those calories
- 0:38are left. And here they can see the
- 0:40target for their macros. So for example,
- 0:42the target for the carbs is 150. And
- 0:45they can see how many of that they've
- 0:46logged so far. Over here there's a note
- 0:48option. This allows them to add a note
- 0:50for a specific day. And over here,
- 0:52there's a couple of options that they
- 0:54have. So there's the macros breakdown,
- 0:55which I will show you later. Over here
- 0:57they can copy the previous day's logged
- 0:59meals. This makes logging meals much
- 1:01faster. And here if they want to reset
- 1:03the day, they can do that from this
- 1:04option. So to log a food in a meal, you
- 1:07can click this add food option. Here
- 1:08you'll see there's a couple of options.
- 1:10There's the food. So you can just search
- 1:12the food from our food database. You can
- 1:15also have pre-saved meals. And if
- 1:17there's a food that's not in the
- 1:18database, they can always come in here
- 1:20and add it in their own library. Over
- 1:22here there's a barcode scanner. So, if I
- 1:24click on this, I'm currently on the
- 1:25simulator, so I can't use it, but it
- 1:27works just as any barcode scanner would
- 1:29work. So, let's go ahead and search
- 1:31something. Let's do chicken. Let's go
- 1:33ahead and add this first one here. So, I
- 1:36can either click this to quickly add it,
- 1:38or I can click on the full food to view
- 1:41more information. I can view the macros.
- 1:43And if I want to modify the servings, I
- 1:45can modify this. So, let's go ahead and
- 1:47just click add. So, that's been logged
- 1:50into our meal. Now, let's look for a
- 1:52wrap. and we'll add this one here. I'll
- 1:54just quick add. So that's logged into
- 1:56our meal. So if I go back to our meal
- 1:59tracker, you can see here is the two
- 2:01food that we just logged. We can see the
- 2:03macros so far for this meal. We can see
- 2:05the total calories for this meal. And we
- 2:08can see our consumed calories versus
- 2:10what was assigned. So for example, so
- 2:11far we've consumed 20 grams of the
- 2:14target and we can see how many calories
- 2:16we have remaining. Client can always
- 2:17click on this option here to save a meal
- 2:20to their meal library. This makes
- 2:21logging a meal easier. So, we'll give
- 2:23this a name. We'll just call this
- 2:24chicken wrap. And I'll just do add. That
- 2:27way, the next time they want to log a
- 2:28meal, they can just do add food. They
- 2:30can go into their meals and then they
- 2:32can see all their meals. They can also
- 2:33just create an entirely new meal if they
- 2:35want to do so. But here, you see this is
- 2:36the meal we just added. Next thing I
- 2:38want to show you is the client can
- 2:40actually log meals directly from the
- 2:43meal plans that you give them. So, here
- 2:45we have our meal plan tab and this is
- 2:47the meals that is assigned by the coach.
- 2:49So here you will see that we have a
- 2:51meal. So this is training day meal. We
- 2:53have two meals assigned, training and
- 2:55rest day. And here are all the different
- 2:56meals that we have. We can also switch
- 2:58between the multiple different options.
- 3:00If I click on this, I can see that there
- 3:01were two different meals assigned for
- 3:03this breakfast meal. So I can switch and
- 3:05what the client can do is they can click
- 3:07to view the meal. So here they can view
- 3:09the meal and they'll see a log option
- 3:10over here. If I go ahead and click on
- 3:12this log option, I can log it directly
- 3:15into my meals. So let's say we want to
- 3:17log this into lunch. I can click lunch
- 3:19and I can do log meal and just like that
- 3:21they've logged directly from their meal
- 3:23plan that you've assigned to them
- 3:25straight into their nutrition tracker.
- 3:26There's also the option to do it from
- 3:28the outside. So for example, if I want
- 3:29to click on this and let's say we want
- 3:31to add this dinner meal and I'll do log
- 3:34meal. And if I go back into our log
- 3:36section, you'll see here we've just
- 3:38logged the dinner meal straight from the
- 3:40meal plan assigned to them and the lunch
- 3:43straight from the meal plan again. And
- 3:45what's nice is they can always click on
- 3:47it and modify. So if they eat more than
- 3:49what was assigned or eat less, they can
- 3:51always come here and modify it. So
- 3:53that's what the nutrition tracker looks
- 3:54like from the client side. Let's switch
- 3:56to the coach side and see how we can
- 3:58actually view this data. So here we have
- 4:00the coach side. So at the moment I am in
- 4:02the nutrition tab of the client profile
- 4:04and I'm in the nutrition logger section.
- 4:07So first of all, you'll see that we can
- 4:09filter between the different weeks. So,
- 4:11if I click on this right now, we're in
- 4:13this week and you can navigate between
- 4:15all the different weeks. Here you'll see
- 4:17there's a macros target option and this
- 4:19is how you can set the client's macros
- 4:20target. So, if I click on this for
- 4:22example, you'll see here we have this as
- 4:24the macros target. If you have a
- 4:26separate macros target for rest days,
- 4:28you can turn that on and then you can
- 4:30specify the macros target for that day.
- 4:32You can go ahead and enter the macros
- 4:34target and as you're entering it, it
- 4:37will automatically calculate the
- 4:38calories for you based on the input.
- 4:40Now, what's really nice is you don't
- 4:42have to enter all of these. So, for
- 4:44example, let's say you just want to give
- 4:46them a protein target. You can just set
- 4:48this without having to fill in the
- 4:50remaining fields. If you just wanted to
- 4:52give them a calories target instead of
- 4:54specifying these macros, you can do so.
- 4:57Here you can see the macros in a graph
- 4:59format for this week. What's nice is you
- 5:02can turn on the different options. So,
- 5:04for example, if we just want to view
- 5:05calories and maybe turn off fiber, fats,
- 5:08carbs, protein, you can do so. If you
- 5:10want to maybe just view the protein and
- 5:12carbs and turn off calories, you can do
- 5:14so as well. Over here, you'll see the
- 5:15macros breakdown. Now, this shows you
- 5:17the average along with the total. The
- 5:19average here is based on the days they
- 5:21log. So, for example, if they just log 5
- 5:24days of the week, the average would be
- 5:26based on those 5 days. Over here is
- 5:27where you can view their logged meals
- 5:29along with the compliance. So, here
- 5:31you'll see that there's these indicators
- 5:32that is for the compliance and you'll
- 5:34see the compliance for the week. So in
- 5:36this case, the compliance is 3 out of
- 5:38seven because they've only met the
- 5:39target in these 3 days. Now these
- 5:41indicators mean different things which I
- 5:43will jump through. If you don't set a
- 5:45target, you won't see these indicators.
- 5:47Instead, you'll just see a gray color
- 5:49just indicating that they've logged
- 5:51something on this day. Green means that
- 5:52they're on target. Now, there's a buffer
- 5:54of 10%. So if they're off by 10% or over
- 5:57by 10%, it would count it as they're on
- 5:59target. So, for example, if the protein
- 6:01goal is 100 and they're 10% over or 10%
- 6:04under, we'd consider it within target.
- 6:06So, if they get 97 out of the 100, it
- 6:08would be green. But if they get
- 6:10significantly over or significantly
- 6:11lower, it would be either yellow or red.
- 6:14Yellow means they were close to the
- 6:16target. And then red would mean they
- 6:18were way off. So, I'll jump into each
- 6:20one of those to show you what that looks
- 6:21like. So, if we click on this day, for
- 6:23example, on the Saturday where it was
- 6:25green, you'll see here that you can view
- 6:27the full logged meal, but for now, we're
- 6:28going to focus on the compliance side
- 6:30here, you'll see that they've hit the
- 6:32calories that you've assigned. So,
- 6:33you've assigned 1,530 and they've hit
- 6:361,580. So, they were over by 50, which
- 6:39is within the range, so it counts it as
- 6:41on track. Over here, they were off by 7.
- 6:44Over here, they had five remaining. So,
- 6:46if you look here, they hit 115 out of
- 6:47the 120 that you've assigned as a
- 6:49target. The yellow means that they may
- 6:51be below or over target. So for example,
- 6:54if I click on Wednesday, you'll see here
- 6:56four fats, they did indeed hit the
- 6:58target, but for the remaining macros,
- 7:00they were way off. Now you will also see
- 7:02yellow if they surpass the target you've
- 7:04assigned. So for example, here you'll
- 7:06see that for calories, they were off by
- 7:09240 calories. So in this case, it
- 7:12exceeded the assigned target. And here
- 7:14again, you see that it was over by 20.
- 7:16And then you'll see that there's this
- 7:18red indicator and this just means that
- 7:21they're way off. So in this case, they
- 7:23did indeed hit two targets, but they
- 7:25were way off in terms of carbs. So you
- 7:28get these indicators from outside. And
- 7:30what's nice is you can actually align
- 7:31these indicators with the weekly chart.
- 7:34So if I put this on, for example, you'll
- 7:36see here we got a red indicator on
- 7:38Thursday. And if we look at Thursday the
- 7:4018th, we can see that there was a drop
- 7:42in carbs. In this case, for example, on
- 7:44the 19th, it was a yellow indicator and
- 7:46we can see they've overexceeded in the
- 7:48curbs. Here you'll see that there's a
- 7:50notes icon and this just indicates if a
- 7:53client left a note on a specific day.
- 7:55So, you get to see it from here to know
- 7:56that if you click on this, you can
- 7:58actually see the comments that they've
- 8:00left. Now, let's actually dive into the
- 8:01logged nutrition here. If you scroll,
- 8:03you can see their full logged meals for
- 8:05a specific day. You can see the meal
- 8:07that they've logged, all the different
- 8:09foods, the servings for that food, along
- 8:11with the macros for each specific food,
- 8:14and then the overall macros for that
- 8:16meal. You can also view the client's log
- 8:18nutrition through the coach app. So, I'm
- 8:20going to switch to the coach app to
- 8:21quickly show you how you can do that.
- 8:23So, right now, we are in the coach app.
- 8:25I am in the clients tab. And at the
- 8:26moment, I have this one client that
- 8:28we're going to click on
- 8:30here. If we navigate to the profile
- 8:33section, you will see this log
- 8:35nutrition. And if I go ahead and click
- 8:37on this, you can view directly from the
- 8:39coach app the client's logged meals. So
- 8:42I can navigate through the different
- 8:44days to see their logged meals. And I
- 8:46can also click on the macros breakdown
- 8:48to view the macro breakdown for that
- 8:50day. So that's everything for the inapp
- 8:52nutrition tracker. If you have any
- 8:54questions or anything, feel free to
- 8:55leave them in the comments below.
