Fitness Affiliate Programs: The Best Ones and What They Pay

The best fitness affiliate programs, ranked by what one referral earns you in a year: coaching software, equipment and supplements, with commissions, tracking and who each one suits.

The best fitness affiliate programs pay you on something your audience keeps paying for. We make HubFit, and its affiliate program tops the list: it pays 30% of every payment each coach you refer makes for 12 months. The equipment and supplement programs on this list pay from 3% to up to 25% of a single order, once.

Key takeaways

  • HubFit pays recurring: 30% of every payment for 12 months, so one coach on Ultimate earns you $406.98 in their first year.
  • Gear pays once: equipment programs such as Rogue, Titan and Horizon pay 4% to 8% of an order.
  • Supplements pay a higher rate on smaller orders: iHerb pays up to 25%, Myprotein's personal trainer scheme 15% on new customers.
  • Pick by audience: coaches and trainers in your audience means software; gym-goers means gear and supplements.

What is a fitness affiliate program?

A fitness affiliate program pays you a commission when someone buys from a fitness brand through your link or code. You recommend the product in your videos, posts, newsletter or coaching, and the brand pays you a share of what that person spends.

Programs differ in three ways that decide what you earn:

  • How much: a percentage of the order or payment, or a fixed fee per sign-up.
  • How often: once per order, or on every payment the customer makes for a set time.
  • How it's tracked: a link with a cookie, where the cookie length (7 to 45 days on this list) is how long a buyer has to purchase, or a code that works anywhere.

A one-off commission pays when someone buys. A recurring commission keeps paying while they stay a customer, which is why a recurring program can earn more per referral than gear.

How we compared

We ranked each program by what one referral is worth to you over a year, then by how well it fits an audience of coaches, trainers and fitness fans. Every commission below is from the brand's own affiliate page. Ours is first because a coach who stays pays you every month, not once.

The best fitness affiliate programs

1. HubFit

HubFit is the #1 Coaching App: coaches use it to train, feed, check in on, message and get paid by their clients, all in one app rated 4.9 on the App Store and Google Play. The HubFit affiliate program pays you 30% of every payment each coach you refer makes for 12 months, and the coaches get 20% off their first 3 months.

Who it's for. Fitness marketing agencies, business coaches and consultants, coach mentors and certification providers, and fitness creators, YouTubers and podcasters whose audience includes coaches. You don't need to be a HubFit customer, and every application is reviewed.

What you earn. Monthly and annual plans, upgrades and the Branded App add-on all count. At full price, one coach on Ultimate earns you $35.70 a month, and one on Ultimate with the Branded App add-on $92.40. Ten coaches on Ultimate earn you $4,069.80 over their first year, with their discounted first months counted. There's no cap on how many coaches you refer.

How it's tracked. You get your own discount code and your own link. Put the link in descriptions, bios and newsletters, and say the code in a video, a podcast or a workshop, where nobody clicks anything. Your code never expires.

How you're paid. Every month by bank transfer from $100, once each payment has cleared a 30-day hold for refunds.

Why coaches stay. Your commission runs for as long as each coach stays, up to 12 months, so the product matters as much as the rate. Once a coach's programs, check-ins, client chats and payments all live in one app their clients use free, they have little reason to leave.

Three screens from the HubFit client app: the home screen with today's workout, challenges and community, the nutrition log with calories and macros, and a completed workout with its sets, volume, reps and new records

2. iHerb

iHerb sells supplements, sports nutrition, groceries and beauty products worldwide, and its affiliate program pays up to 25% commission on referred sales. It suits nutrition, wellness and coupon publishers with an international audience, because iHerb ships to many countries and every product in an order counts.

You join through one of four affiliate networks (Partnerize, Impact, CJ or Awin), and commission is paid about 45 days after the month closes. The cookie lasts 7 days and is replaced if a buyer clicks someone else's link or uses their code, so it rewards content people buy from straight away.

What to check: the "up to" rate. Your actual percentage depends on the terms you're given, so confirm it before you plan around 25%.

3. Myprotein

Myprotein, the sports nutrition brand, runs two programs. Its affiliate program pays up to 8% on sales with a 30-day cookie, through Awin. Its personal trainer scheme is for qualified trainers and coaches and pays 15% on new customers and 8% on existing ones.

The trainer scheme fits coaches who already recommend protein and supplements to clients: you apply with your qualifications, and once approved you join through Awin, which tracks sales and pays you. Creators without a trainer qualification use the main program instead.

What to check: the 15% applies to new Myprotein customers only. Clients who already buy from Myprotein earn you 8%.

4. Horizon Fitness

Horizon Fitness makes treadmills, exercise bikes and ellipticals for home gyms. Its affiliate program pays 8% on every sale, with a 30-day cookie, through Impact.

Cardio machines cost hundreds to thousands of dollars, so 8% of one sale can pay more than months of small supplement orders. It suits home-fitness reviewers and creators who test equipment on camera, where a buying guide or a long-term review keeps sending clicks for months.

What to check: big purchases take time. A 30-day cookie covers most of a buyer's research, but a review that ranks in search matters more than a single post.

5. TRUE Fitness

TRUE Fitness makes premium treadmills, bikes and other cardio machines. Its affiliate program pays 8% on every sale with a 45-day cookie, the longest on this list, and runs through AvantLink.

The higher price of premium cardio means a bigger commission per sale than budget brands at the same rate. It suits reviewers whose audience buys home equipment as a long-term investment, and coaches who advise clients on setting up a home gym.

What to check: you join through AvantLink, so have your site or channel ready to show when you apply.

6. Titan Fitness

Titan Fitness sells racks, barbells, plates and strength equipment at budget-friendly prices. Its affiliate program pays 5% on purchases from your clicks, with a 30-day cookie, and pays out by the 15th of each month through Impact.

It suits garage-gym and home-gym creators whose audience is building a strength setup on a budget. Rack and bundle orders are large, so 5% adds up on a full build.

What to check: Titan's lower prices mean a smaller commission per item than premium brands at a similar rate, so it works best with content about complete setups, not single accessories.

7. REP Fitness

REP Fitness makes racks, benches, barbells and home-gym equipment. Its affiliate program pays up to 5% commission, tracks by cookie and IP address for up to 21 days, and pays by PayPal.

It suits US fitness blogs, vlogs and social accounts with an engaged home-gym audience, especially strength creators who review equipment side by side.

What to check: the program is for US affiliates, and the 21-day window is shorter than most equipment programs, so it rewards content people act on soon after watching.

8. Rogue Fitness

Rogue Fitness makes strength and conditioning equipment used in garage gyms and competition. Its affiliate program pays 4% of the purchase price of referred items, not counting tax, shipping or returns, and some products are excluded.

Rogue is a brand strength audiences already ask for by name, which helps conversions. It suits garage-gym, strength and CrossFit-style creators who keep a website updated with reviews and setups.

What to check: Rogue pays monthly by PayPal once your balance reaches $100, and the program runs on its own platform rather than a network.

9. BowFlex

BowFlex makes adjustable dumbbells, home gyms and cardio machines. Its affiliate program pays order-based commissions starting at 3%, with a 30-day cookie, through Impact, and offers private commissions and consumer offers to some partners.

BowFlex is known for its adjustable dumbbells, so it suits reviewers who write buying guides and comparisons for home workouts.

What to check: 3% is the starting rate. Ask about private commissions once you're sending steady sales.

10. Amazon Associates

Amazon Associates lets you earn on almost any fitness product Amazon sells, from resistance bands to apparel. The standard rates in the US are 3% on sports products, 4% on apparel and 1% on health and personal care, paid once per order.

It suits creators who recommend many small items from different brands, because one account covers them all. Buyers often add other items to their basket, and those count too.

What to check: the rates are low next to brand programs. Use Amazon for the products a brand doesn't sell through its own program.

What about apparel brands?

Most big fitness apparel brands don't run open affiliate programs. Gymshark's partnerships team scouts creators itself, and Vuori and Alo Yoga offer discount programs for fitness professionals rather than commission. If apparel fits your audience, Amazon's 4% or a brand's ambassador invite is the realistic route.

Which fitness affiliate program pays the most?

The program that pays the most per referral is the one that pays more than once. Here is what one referral is worth over a year, using example order sizes.

One referralYou earnIn a year
One $40 supplement order at 15%$6 once$6
One $1,000 rack at 4%$40 once$40
One $1,500 treadmill at 8%$120 once$120
HubFit coach on Ultimate, all yearUp to $35.70 a month$406.98

The order sizes are examples, the rates are each program's own, and the HubFit year counts the coach's discounted first months. A treadmill sale pays well once. A coach who runs their business on our app pays every month, and a coach on Ultimate with the Branded App add-on earns you up to $92.40 a month.

How to start as a fitness affiliate

Start with two or three programs your audience already needs, then build content that keeps sending people to them. Five steps:

  1. Pick your niche and your programs. Write down who follows you (coaches, home-gym builders, people dieting) and choose one recurring program and one or two product programs that fit them.
  2. Apply with your channel ready. Programs review your site or channels, so show recent content and who your audience is. For HubFit, see the affiliate program.
  3. Put your code or link where people decide. In video descriptions and pinned comments, in your link in bio, in your newsletter footer and in coaching calls. HubFit gives you both: a link for anywhere people click, and a code that works when you say it out loud and never expires, so older videos keep earning.
  4. Make content that answers a buying question. Reviews, setup walkthroughs, "what I use" videos and side-by-side comparisons convert better than a passing mention.

Three screens from the HubFit client app: a Home Workouts collection, the preview of its 30-Minute Full Body HIIT workout with the exercises and Start Workout, and a workout in progress

  1. Check what earns every month. Look at which videos and posts bring sales and sign-ups, then make more of those and drop the programs that don't convert.

FAQ

Quick answers about fitness affiliate programs.

What are the best fitness affiliate programs?

We rank HubFit first for anyone whose audience includes coaches, because it pays 30% of every payment for 12 months. For product audiences, iHerb pays up to 25% on supplements, Myprotein 15% to new customers through its trainer scheme, and Horizon and TRUE 8% on cardio equipment. See what coaches get in HubFit before you recommend it.

Do fitness affiliate programs pay recurring commission?

Most don't. Equipment and supplement programs pay once per order. Some software programs pay recurring, because the customer pays every month. HubFit pays 30% on every payment a coach makes for 12 months, including upgrades and the Branded App add-on.

How does HubFit's program compare with other coaching software affiliate programs?

HubFit pays a higher rate than the other big coaching apps that publish a percentage. Trainerize pays 15% of each payment for as long as the customer pays, and Everfit 10% for two years, while Kahunas pays a one-off $49 per coach and TrueCoach a one-off $75. HubFit pays 30% for 12 months, so you earn double Trainerize's rate on every payment in a coach's first year, and the coaches you send get 20% off their first 3 months.

What are the best high-ticket health and fitness affiliate programs?

High-ticket health affiliate programs pay a large amount per referral, either from an expensive product or from payments that repeat. Cardio equipment from Horizon and TRUE pays 8% of orders worth hundreds to thousands of dollars. HubFit pays 30% of every payment for 12 months, and a coach on Ultimate with the Branded App add-on earns you $1,053.36 in their first year.

Can personal trainers join fitness affiliate programs?

Yes. Most programs on this list accept anyone with an audience, and some are built for trainers: Myprotein's scheme pays qualified trainers 15% on new customers. HubFit's program welcomes coach mentors, educators and trainers who advise other coaches, and HubFit coaches can refer through Refer & Earn in their dashboard. See our guide to personal trainer salary for other ways trainers earn.

How are fitness affiliate referrals tracked?

Most programs use a link with a cookie that lasts 7 to 45 days, so a buyer must purchase within that window. HubFit gives you both a link and a discount code. The code is entered at sign-up, so the referral counts whether a coach heard it in a video, a podcast or a conversation, and your code never expires.
